bagging poetry & being a bit kinder to the environment
have you ever attended a small press fair, collected a bunch of stuff & then had no bag to put it in? small press fair vendors, one thing you can do is to make bags by fusing old plastic bags…it’s really easy and doesn’t take too long. it’s a great way of reusing those non biodegradable bags and the resulting bag is pretty cool.

My sister has done some of this fusing. The heavier plastics work better, she says. She’s made some cool bags.

i’ve done it too. but only in small bits. made some form of envelopes and stuff. here the standard grocery shopping bags are perfect.
