kindness spam

not really spam i hope, just sending out compliments and friendly e-mails to friends. i find i get so much spam and rejection e-mails or sometimes cruel retorts from people that it would be great to receive regular positive e-mail. maybe it’s something one could sign up for. sorry i haven’t had any new ideas to share for ages. i’m surprised how fast time passes.

It’s nice to get surprises in the post. I have started to send altered book postcards to friends along and other ephemera. No real purpose to it other than ‘hey what up I’m not billing you!’

This idea reminds me of the photo exhibit / relationship map idea in some ways ..

If you were to make it a formal sign-in thing, you would be able to invite people into a feedback loop, and a webpage would render visually exchanges between participants of positive messages, i.e. sending email / post etc to others in the loop would strengthen / colour lines between participants.

nice idea. i have a mail art project myself, sending out postcards and ephemera to pals. for one person i’ve sent a series of postcards called 31 tales from upper zygonia. each card contains a story bit on it.

I thought people already did that with the angels and “Friendship Week” and “if you don’t send this to 1,000 people within the next 23 seconds, you’re a loser” emails.
