Today our 44 Cordial is ready to be decanted. We doubled this recipe: one orange pierced 44 times, each piercing stuffed with one of 44 coffee beans,placed into a liter of rum, add 44 teaspoons of sugar and let steep in a cool dark place for 44 days. Then remove and discard the oranges, strain through cheesecloth and return to bottle. Store in freezer and drink neat or over ice. Recipe from Saveur magazine.
