A lightweight (fall/spring) jacket with a pocket/pouch in the back big enough for a laptop and a couple of file folders. Easier to sling on than a backpack going over a jacket. Less bulky, but able to carry the essentials.
like bookcrossing.com but for poetry, esp small press stuff. you leave a chapbook, someone picks it up and leaves one for someone else. getting poetry into the hands of those who want to read it. for bookcrossing.com, the books are all registered with numbers etc. it could be like that or less organized.
i know these already exist, i’ve heard of them but have never been part of any group that has exchanged them. the idea is to make cards, much like baseball or hockey cards, except for poetry or other art forms and then trade them. i’d love to give out and receive them. any links to such would be very welcome or if you do them already.
have you ever attended a small press fair, collected a bunch of stuff & then had no bag to put it in? small press fair vendors, one thing you can do is to make bags by fusing old plastic bags…it’s really easy and doesn’t take too long. it’s a great way of reusing those non biodegradable bags and the resulting bag is pretty cool.

A magnetically mounted hood ornament with a wireless remote control. Inside the car is a button you can push. When the button is pushed, the hood ornament raises the middle finger salute. Should sell at least as well, or better, than the tow hitch testicles.
A new product idea: pre-packaged roadside shrine kits. Kit would include a cross, a set of large adhesive vinyl letters, slip-covers for easy photo insertion, a sheet of stick-on stock sympathy phrases (we miss you!, love you forever, party on!), a baggie of zip ties for easy lashing of trinkets to the cross, and a disposable camera for taking photos of the finished shrine.
An adjustable measuring spoon for coffee, such that once it’s dialed in to the desired setting, one scoop will do the job. Counting to five before I’ve had my coffee can be a challenge some mornings.
While having a bad putting weekend, I realized that I had so completely lost my touch that I would have really benefited from having putter with strike plate mounted to the blade that would register the amount of force being applied at impact with the ball. I couldn’t determine reliably for myself how hard I was hitting it. I didn’t know if I needed to blame (and thus adjust) the way I was hitting the ball, or if I needed to blame the greens for being wildly inconsistent in their speeds.
And golfers are famous for buying just about anything. I’d've bought one of these if it was there.
